Congratulations to AWC: 100th Year Celebration
The AWC Matrix Foundation congratulates the Association for Women in Communications as it celebrates 100 years of helping professional women communicators achieve their full potential! We are proud to support many AWC-related efforts through our scholarships, research and publications. We are especially excited about our latest publication: the AWC historical DVD, which premiered at the association's Centennial Conference in Seattle on October 16. The video also honors the memory of Anne Hecker, dear friend and colleague of AWC, the AWC Matrix Foundation and numerous others.
Also during this special AWC Conference, the AWC Matrix Foundation bestowed awards on Deborah Jacobs and Joann Byrd, women who have made great achievements and contributions through the years as professional communicators.
The Foundation has granted scholarships to help bring other deserving people to conference, and we continue to support AWC chapters in their local scholarship efforts.
As always, AWC Matrix Foundation is thankful for its many donors, and we appreciate any amount that is contributed to our worthy causes.
